365 days project 2. Day 65. Life is better in 2

Some people love to be single. They don't want any strings attached, a family, kids or other stuff like that. Others love having someone by their side to share life and everything that happens in a relationship. I'm in the second category.
I've been single. I've been in relationships. I found my soulmate and it feels wonderful! I feel lucky and blessed every single morning when I wake up and every night when I go to sleep by his side. We do everything together. We plan stuff, we solve problems, we go shopping together, we cook together, we watch movies together, we laugh and cry together. He's my best friend and I'm his best friend. And I don't know about you but my life is definitely better in 2. Especially when your husband is your best friend and he understands you better than you do. My life just wouldn't be the same without him.

Day 200. Enjoy it while it lasts

Violets in her hands

I called her to tell her I'm hungry. Yeah. I still do that sometimes. She was waiting for me looking out the window. When I looked up and I saw her, I instantly smiled and waved. It's a thing we do when we wait for each other to come home:) And as I got closer to the block of flats I took a good look at her while smiling: "She's so awesome, my best friend and my confident, my tv shows mate and my role model. I'm so happy to have her. To look at her and know she's there. Still there. I love her so much" I thought to myself melancholically.
I wanted to get inside the block of flats when my eyes stopped on a death announcement. A neighbor of ours died. He was only 58. And there it was. Capital letters. "Loved FATHER and HUSBAND." Father. Father. He died. "Wow. Now I really feel lucky she's still with me. Cos she's the best mom one could have. She's... MY mom":)

Day 98. Good luck vs. Fate

good luck or fate

Some people believe in good luck while others call it fate. Or God's hand. Which one happened today? I'd say the second:)
Today I won 2 prizes (6 Christmas cards and a box of Kit Kat). It was all very unexpected since I had never won anything in my life:) Actually, that's why words cannot describe my utter happiness! I was extatic!!!
When I found out about the second prize I was already thinking how lucky I got when I least expected it. If you asked me yesterday, I could have sworn I'd never win anything and then... boom. It happened. How did I get here? How did a day like this turn into a lucky day for me? Why today?
Then I remembered my aunt's saying: "There's no such thing as good luck. It's God sending you a message":) So I started wondering what these prizes could mean. They surely came in handy since I really need the cards for Christmas presents and something sweet always makes people happy so I decided to take it as a reward for my behavior this year and spread the joy. Today I learned that God is my personal Santa:)

Day 4. Choices

choices in life

Every day we have to make choices. Since we wake up till we go to bed in the night, our life is controlled by our very own decisions. Now or later? Short or long? Healthy or not-so-healthy-but-yummy?:)
I had to make a choice today. Nothing big, but yet important for me. After a hard struggle and asking people around I got to the best solution. I realized I can use both of my options. At times this is the best decision since every choice has its consequences and we have to be careful about that. I wanted to be happy and make someone happy as well so now we're all happy. I guess I was pretty lucky:)
