Day 132. If it's winter

...then we should see some snowflakes around... if not outside at least indoors:) The kids and I had a great time today making snowflakes. As we were folding the paper they were eagerly waiting to see the result and after the snowflakes were done they were amazed by the variety of the shapes. I then told them a little story about people being like snowflakes: simmilar but unique, special and important. That's why we should appreciate one another, love one another and stop judging the others for how they look. Beauty comes from within and that's what we should focus on:)

Day 71. Colorful heaven

pictor Octavian Popescu Cluj

I don't know about you, but I admire painters SO much! I wish I would have been able to create such a beauty with my own hands. Nevertheless, one has to settle for the gift he received when he was born. Was it random draw? Was it destiny?
Today I got the chance to see some works of a painter from my own city: Octavian Popescu. Very very talented! I looove his landscapes and his flower paintings!:)
So, this afternoon I stepped into heaven for a bit and it was heart melting:)

Day 37. October canvas

Grapes and rotten apple

Today I found a black apple among the ones we brought from the countryside. I loved taking shots of it and then I decided to add some grapes from my "vineyard" and there you go, October canvas painted by autumn itself:)
I have to agree with Arghezi. We can find beauty in ugly things too. It depends how we look at them and how we portray them to take the beauty out of them:)
