The doors

Dear diary,

   I've been thinking about a new concept that came to my mind for a while now. I find it interesting how the important people in our life unlock different doors inside us. It's like we're all wonderful castles that carry their stories of the past with them... some happy, some sad, but all as important to the beauty and the mystery of the castle.
   As castles, we all gather bits and pieces of information that has been given to us and we keep it in different rooms along the time. And when the right person approaches the castle, it enters it and it finds a new key that leads to a new room. A room with wonders and unexpected beauty. With secret books they never knew existed but which apparently were always there. 

   New people open new rooms of the beautiful castle and in the end the whole building will be open to visit for it has reached the age of wisdom when it can give forward what it has received over so many years. 

   How wonderful can it be to know that at an unexpected moment, an unexpected visitor will open up a new room in your beautiful castle, a room that will be a wonder for both the visitor and for the castle itself!:)

Day 317. Heavenly gifts

   Today was going to be one of those perfect days. I just had that feeling again. 

   I slept as much as I needed (a rare thing these days) and that made me very happy. Then my family and I went for a terrific picnic with a lot of people. Some we knew and some we didn't. But simply being surrounded by them was awesome. Listening to their stories and sharing mine with them. I love this kind of experiences and I actually missed meeting new people:)

   You'd think it's already a pretty awesome day but it doesn't end like this. By a combination of fate and chance my best friend and I went to the mall and discovered something that would make me "the happiest she'd ever seen me" like she said:) The perfect jewels I've waited for my whole life. They just came to me. And I accepted them in my life like a lost part of me that I just found. I told the lady selling them how much I've looked for something like that and how happy they make me feel. As we parted I could tell she was genuinely happy for me. And I discovered she even offered me an extra pair of earrings. I just love bonding with people:)

   I don't know if this happens to you too. If you just feel something awesome is going to happen every now and then... but I do. And I end up loving every single one of those special days:) How could I not? They're heavenly gifts:)

Day 169. Hope

   Hope is what keeps us going. Hope for a better world, a better future, a life just like we want it. Or maybe hope that everything is going to be OK in the end, even if we know there's still a long way full of surprises until we reach the final destination.

   I found out my time in the kindergarten I'm working now could be limited to... only 4 more months. Due to some bureaucratic stuff, I might have to choose a different workplace sometime in August and it might hurt cos I really thought I was going to stay longer and I also got attached to the place and the people. Still, there is the option of staying here if I get a high enough grade at the exam and choose this place again. So I end up hoping Someone up there will help me just like He did last year when every little detail helped me get here because it had to be this way. It was a miracle and I still believe in it. I believe in myself. And I hope. Never end up hoping:) And if the dream comes to an end, I will write new stories and I will try to save new lives wherever I am. In my own, little way.

Day 43. Long days

... are not necessarily tiring:) You can hear life stories, learn new things from children who see life differently and then seal the day with a kiss that reminds you how much you love. I want more days like this one:)
