365 days project 2. Day 47. Relax, catch up

Some days are perfect for unwinding in the middle of a sunlit park with your best friend and good books.
I know life passes us by, but rushing doesn't make it better. I always loved people who took their time walking somewhere, who enjoyed the surroundings and seemed so at peace with their life.
I took my time getting to work today and then I decided to enjoy this beautiful weather to the fullest. It's starting to smell like summer and holidays. Two more weeks of school and then we're off to wandering the world! Can't wait to relax more and more and more...

365 days project 2. Day 42. Making people happy

I always loved making people happy. It just makes me all warm and fuzzy on the inside when I see them smile. I was born to make people happy. Not as a comedian, but maybe as a psychologist and if not that, at least as a friend :)
It's not easy all the time. It takes practice and knowing them very well, being patient and very attentive to details. But in the end, the happiest experiences happen when it all comes from the heart, when you forget about yourself and you give yourself completely to them.
Sometimes people don't reply with the same enthusiasm you put in the preparation for the surprise/ activity/ lesson/ counseling session/ parent meeting. And that hurts at first, but you know what? It is always worth preparing for it with all the love and care in the world because what goes around comes around :) And maybe not everybody is going to appreciate it, but the ones who matter will :)

Day 270. Giving and receiving

Sometimes things turn out to be better than we expect and we receive much more than we think we deserve. And all that because karma works her deal all the way. What you give is what you shall receive:)
Today I read a quote saying "We are not blessed so we can have, we are blessed so we can give." And I love giving! So I organized some cute, unexpected ways to surprise a friend on her birthday:) What I loved most was seeing her sincere reactions of happiness while she was expecting this to be just another regular birthday:) It's interesting to think that I was the one surprised at some point in the past and now, by doing this, I paid it forward. It surely feels good to be able to do it.
In the end, there's more happiness in giving than receiving:) At least in my case. Making people happy is one of my purposes in life. Today, mission accomplished:)

Day 1. Childhood

twinkle little star

I wish I had a bee of any type so I could easily represent my first workplace, but unfortunately, the only bee I had was on the earrings I made for myself and then gave away to a dear friend, so I searched in my room for another item that reminds me of childhood and kids. Why? Because I am going to work with them the following year.
Today I found out I'm going to be a psychologist at a kindergarten in my town named "The Little Bee" (hence, the bee I needed for my photo). In the end I laid my eyes on a little smiling star that always makes me smile and a cute pencil with a teddy bear on the top.
I think this photo suits the day. The day I found out shooting for the stars is good because you always get where you want in the end.
And for me... it's just the beginning :)
